Diamond Chair Buckles:  Chair buckles are the newest design trends for 2011.  Traditionally, chair covers are coupled with colored sashes.  Currently, tying the sashes into bows is the most popular look. If you like the look of chair covers with sashes, you may want to consider the diamond buckles to create an elegant, upscale look.  The buckles come in a variety of styles and in both round and square shapes.  In selecting the buckles, be sure to find a buckle that is substantial in size for the best look.  Keep in mind that the sashes can be tied low or high around the chair with the buckle placed in the center or at the side. Ceiling Draping:  Event draping has been featured on Platinum Weddings and on My Fair Wedding on the WE channel.  The draping is a great way to transform the look of the ballroom and more and more couples are incorporating the draping into their décor.  The most popular draping at Majestic Gardens is the ivory organza draping over the dance floor with satin bands in your accent color.

Crystals, Candles and Centerpieces: While floral arrangements continue to be the most popular centerpiece, more and more couple are moving away from traditional floral centerpieces where each table has the same arrangement.  For 2011 we expect to see more and more couples selecting two or three different centerpieces all similar in color but with varying heights and sizes for their tables. The use of candles and crystals as accents and as the main focal point of the centerpiece is also on the rise.   Candles create a soft romantic feel so many couples are using candles to accent their centerpieces and are even going with candelabra centerpieces. Colored Table Overlays:  For 2011, many couples are adding a colored or  textured overlay.  In determning the color of the overlay or table linen, you should think about your the look you want to create.  Traditionally, couples would match the linens with the color of the bridesmaid dresses.  Today, couples are matching their linens to the ballroom, to their centerpieces or  to the season.   Additionally, many couples will select colors that coordiante and compliment the bridesmaids dresses but not necessarily the same color.
