Rustic Weddings: Burlap, Mason Jars, Chalk Board Signs and More
Rustic weddings continue to be the hottest trend in wedding for 2015!

If you are wondering what this trend is, all you have to do is search for rustic weddings on Pinterest: fancy linens, centerpieces, and church ceremonies are out and burlap, mason jars and outdoor ceremonies are in!

If you prefer outdoor ceremonies, a country feel and a relaxed vibe, this trend may be for you. The rustic look is all about wooden signs, chalkboards, burlap, mason jars and floral with green accents.

While you may not want to host your reception in a barn setting, you can create a similar look and relaxed feel at your favorite venue. Perhaps, consider adding burlap accents to your reception décor, whether it is the chair ties, runners, or table overlays. You can also add burlap accents to your wedding cake, ceremony décor and even the favors.

If you like the idea of burlap but want to soften the look, consider adding lace accents to add a more vintage look. Wooden signs and chalkboards are commonly used as props and to send messages from the Bride and Groom to their guests. Most popular are signs with Instagram hashtags, ceremony seating signs, a simple Welcome sign or signature drink signs posted at the bar.

??????????????????????????????? Mason jars are being used as vases for centerpieces and smaller ones can be used as favors when adding something sweet inside. For the centerpieces, if you want to go with a more natural look with your mason jars, add extra greens, leaves, branches and berries. Once again, for a more vintage look, add baby’s breath to your centerpieces, bouquets and ceremony décor.

Multiple-Mason-Jar-Bouquet[1] In addition to mixing the rustic elements with vintage touches, you can also mix rustic and beach themes. Beach themed weddings are usually more causal and natural so they blend well together. Consider burlap runners with glass jars filled with seashells and candles as accents for the tables. You can also decorate the ceremony area with twine, mason jars and shell accents.
