Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink
Pink has always been a very popular color with brides and this year, many brides are using pink either as a primary color or an accent color, with the shades of pink ranging from a soft pink blush to shades of hot pink including watermelon, honeysuckle and fuchsia.   Below are pictures from weddings held at Majestic Gardens to give you ideas of different ways to incorporate color into your reception. For outdoor ceremonies, you can incorporate your colors by using rose petals and flowers in your color palette, by adding colored chair sashes for the ceremony chairs and by including ceremony fans and petal cones.
For the seating cards, you can use colored cards or embellishments.  Seating boards are getting more and more popular and a board is a great way to present your seating cards.  If you like the traditional card table,  consider a floral piece or pink petals to dress up the card table. In the ballroom, you can incorporate your colors through the linens, centerpieces, table menus and favor gift-wrap.  For example, one couple had a platinum wedding with pink accents so they selected silver pintuck overlays to coordinate with the silver candleabra and pink floral centerpieces.   Another couple selected pink sashes with diamond chair buckles as a way to incorporate pink into the ballroom.
The centerpiece  is one of the focal points as your guests enter the ballroom so whether you select a traditional floral centerpiece or a less traditional look, select flowers that you like that go with your color scheme. More and more, couples are designing their wedding cakes and incorporting color into the design to compliment their wedding theme. A great send off for your guests is the Sweet Dreams Pasry Favor Buffet which can also be customiszed to include your colors.
