A special thank you to everyone who attended our Fall Wedding Expo this week. For couples considering a fall wedding, there were several design options, linens and centerpieces on display and the menu featured seasonal menu selections.
The Secret Garden is the perfect choice for a garden ceremony and at the Expo, the Secret Garden was decorated by our Event Design and Décor Division in rich fall tones of gold, orange and burgundy. The ceremony aisle was lined with leaves, pumpkins, sunflowers, and mums with candle accents for ambiance. To complete the fall look, the gazebo was decorated dark yellow roses.
In the Fountain Gardens, in addition to the mums and pansies in the flower beds and planters, orange luminaries lit up the walkway. Lights in the luminaries can be changed to match your color scheme. The Atrium was decorated with hanging lanterns and coordinating linens to complete the fall look.
Our Event Design and Décor division had various items on display from custom seating displays, table menus, program fans, petal cones and centerpieces. The centerpieces on display coordinated with the different linens and chair covers. If you are considering ceremony décor, wax luminaries, hanging lanterns or coordinating table linens be sure to contact our Design Team.
At the His and Her Signature Drink Tables, we had both Pumpkin and Carmel Apple Martinis on display. The Pumpkin Martini table featured an orange table linen and was decorated with mini pumpkins, pine cones and leaves. The Caramel Apple Martini display featured gold linens with the glass top suspended on a bed of red apples and seasonal accents. Increasingly couples are incorporating these signature drink tables into their cocktail hour to customize their reception. In addition to seasonal tables, designs are available to coordinate with your colors, theme, season or special interest.
The menu featured our Fall Harvest Station during the cocktail hour. This station includes Chicken Calvados (sautéed chicken breast smothered in apples, toasted almonds and Calvados brandy sauce), Pumpkin Ravioli and Butternut Squash Soup with a cornucopia of pumpernickel and cranberry pecan breads.
If you are a dessert lover, there were two stations on display in addition to the wedding cake: the S’mores Dessert Bar and the Ice Cream Pie Dessert Station. The S’mores Bar is an interactive station where guests toast their marshmallows, add graham crackers and their favorite Hershey chocolate. For the Ice Cream & Pie Dessert Station, you can select three favorite pies and toppings. At the Expo, in keeping with the evening’s theme, guests were able to sample fall favorites including apple, pecan and pumpkin pies with ice cream, warm caramel sauce, walnuts, raisins and chocolate chips.
