For 2010, October has been the most popular month for weddings and with the great weather we been having this month, it looks like fall weddings will remain popular for the coming years. For anyone planning for next fall, we thought we would post a few pictures from this past weekend to give you some ideas.
This past weekend, Liz and Seth were married in the Secret Garden. As guests arrived, they were greeted in the lobby with apple cider prior to the ceremony. For the ceremony, they had a ivory carpet runner, leaves scattered down the aisle and fall colored flowers to decorate the ceremony chairs and gazebo.
Following the ceremony, red apple martinis were passed during the cocktail hour. The seating cards were actually fresh mini pumpkins with the guests’ names and table attached. The centerpieces featured red and orange floating gerber daisies and candles with leaves and apples surrounding the base.
Heather and John incorporated the fall into their wedding reception by designing a beautiful wedding cake. The cake was a four tier round cake with a burnt orange and chocolate brown plaid ribbon at the base with scattered leaves and chocolate candy corns decorations.
The centerpieces were arrangement of fall flowers placed on top of pumpkins with leaves scattered around the tables.
