Fall Bridal Expo 2010

Fall Bridal Expo 2010
This past Thursday we hosted our Fall Bridal Expo for 2010. For anyone planning a fall wedding, the Expo was a great opportunity to see fall linens, centerpieces and food presentations.   The linens featured at the Expo were in jewel tones such as burnt orange, red apple, plum, willow, pumpkin and mocha.  The featured linens included pintucks, satins, embroidered organza, flocking damask and crushed taffeta overlays as well as runners and chair sashes.
The centerpieces on display were also in the fall colors and coordinated with the linen selections.
Fall Harvest Station
Our chef prepared several fall selections including Bacon-Wrapped Chicken stuffed with walnuts and gorgonzola cheese which was by far the most popular menu item.  Additionally, our Fall Harvest Station is a great addition to the Cocktail Hour menu and features Pumpkin Ravioli, Butternut Squash Soup and Chicken Calvados (chicken breast smothered with apples and toasted almonds sautéed in Calvados Brandy), accompanied by a cornucopia of pumpernickel and cranberry-walnut breads. For the sweet lovers, our Autumn Delight Dessert Bar featuring pumpkin waffles with an assortment of toppings, was on display.  The toppings for the pumpkin waffles included apples sautéed tableside, creamy vanilla ice cream, warm caramel sauce, walnuts, raisins and chocolate chips. Our Fall Cocktail Display included the Fall-Tini and the Carmel Apple Martini.  The Fall-Tini table featured a pumpkin orange table linen, mini pumpkins, gourds, pine cones and leaves.  The Caramel Apple Martini featured a rich gold linen with a glass topped table suspended on a bed of apples.  With the fall, you can incorporate fresh pears, apples and pumpkins into the display to keep with the season. Our Event Design and Décor team had several centerpieces on display as well as custom seating cards and seating boards, coordinating table menus, petal cones and custom table numbers. The Secret Garden was set up for a candlelit ceremony with lights in the trees and the gazebo and hurricaines with pillar candles on pedestals decorating the ceremony area.
