Diana and Steven’s Bling-Bling Wedding Reception
This past Saturday Majestic Gardens had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful wedding reception for Diana and Steven on an absolutely perfect July evening. Diana and Steven selected Tiffany Blue as the primary color for their reception with  soft pink and bling accents. As the guests made their way to the Atrium for the cocktail hour, the escort cards were displayed in the Chandelier Trees.  The candles that were hanging in the trees reflected off the crystal strands, making an elegant, sparkling presentation.  In keeping with the tiffany blue theme, the tables in the atrium were skirted in ivory and with tiffany blue runners. Diana and Steven selected the Grand Deluxe Menu with the Seafood Boat enhancement and the His and Her Signature Cocktail Bar which featured the Bling-tini and the Mar-Toomey.  The Bling-tini was made from Diana’s own recipe which included Coconut Rum, Pineapple Juice, Coconut Cream and Blue Curacao while the Mar-Toomey was a styled after a French Martini with vodka, Chambord and pineapple juice.  While the cocktails were enjoyed by all, the Seafood Boat was everyone’s favorite. Following the cocktail hour, the guests made their way to the Grand Ballroom for the reception.  For the ballroom tables, Diana and Steven selected tiffany blue embroidered organza table linens, with ivory chair covers and coordinating sashes.  Rather than traditional bows, the sashes were attached to the chairs with diamond buckles  for an added bling effect.
Additionally, the ceiling was draped in ivory with tiffany blue accents and the uplighting around the perimeter of the ballroom was in a soft blue color.  The centerpieces were floral and alternated between high arrangements featuring ivory and pink roses and low arrangements with submerged orchids and floating candles.   For the cake, the couple selected a four tier quilted white fondant cake with crystal ribbons at the base of each tier and a monogram cake topper.  Each tier had silver dragees and edible crystals in the corners of the quilted squares.  After the cake cutting, our One Night in Venice dessert bar was presented for the guests enjoyment.     Diana and Steven had an amazing wedding reception from start to finish and best of all, they had a great time celebrating their marriage.  It was a pleasure to work with them throughout the planning statges and we are so happy that we were able to be a part of their day.
